Summary:Labor competencies are those skills and knowledge that a person possesses to carry out a task, they account for the abilities, in other words, they show distinctive characteristics to carry out the work and that is why it is important to address them so that in conjunction with the selection process of staff develop as a team and contribute to the election of candidates looking for the most suitable for the appropriate positions in the organization. In the process of personnel selection, labor competencies help to establish a process in which technical knowledge, skills and attitudes are taken into account, in order to select candidates who demonstrate having the requested characteristics, in accordance with the what the position requires, as well as what the company is looking for according to its culture and objectives, with the intention of choosing the most outstanding.
