Description
Summary:Urban and peri-urban agriculture (hereinafter AUP) represents a broad process of coordination of ideas, initiatives and citizen efforts aimed at improving the collective well-being of communities. Starting from this definition, this research aims to characterize urban and peri-urban agriculture, as well as the community networks that are integrated around it, in order to identify key elements and their contribution to the construction of resilient and sustainable cities. Community networks and urban agriculture play an important role in the way they interact, as they foster a greater degree of cohesion between members of a community and contribute to the construction of sustainable cities.
