Summary:This project seeks to eliminate coca plant crops in Tumaco, Nariño, avoiding any production of illicit substances in the country. This project seeks to implement a new alternative for crop eradication, because currently the methods used are not the most appropriate, as the use of chemicals generates significant damage to the ecosystem and manual eradication generates a large wear and tear and a lot of time is used in this task. Taking into account all available information on the coca plant and its crops, the three best alternatives for eradicating coca plant crops in the most efficient way possible were considered, taking into account the costs, the safety of people, the amount of time used and the quality of the task performed. It was possible to design two machines that satisfactorily meet the objectives set. This was achieved through the use of mechanical engineering concepts, accompanied by bibliographic sources and software capable of making finite elements to verify results.
