| Summary: | The urban management mechanisms are ready to organize the territory of the cities in those areas of great importance where ecosystems and dynamics of urban pressure coexist. The present investigation analyzes the mechanisms that can be used to manage the environmentally affected areas of the Humedal de Techo, located in the town of Kennedy (Bogotá D.C.). Likewise, it analyzes the role played by the public and private actors that have intervened in the aquifer to constitute real estate projects that, despite being illegal, have the normalization of the land in areas of plant cover and environmental protection. These analyzes lead to propose a payment scheme for environmental services as an alternative to manage the wetland areas that present a great deterioration in terms of the supply. |
