Description
Summary:Currently, there is a strong dependence on fossil fuels for the generation of energy consumed by the world population. Perhaps, the constant discovery of new reserves in the past made us think, in an exaggerated way, that their exhaustion was very far away. However, as is currently proven, these reserves are finite and their end is very close. Since the peak of global production was reached in 2010, more and more energy is required to extract hydrocarbons from the subsoil. This increase in the demand for energy for the production of new energy, worth the redundancy, poses a huge challenge for managers in terms of energy use and innovation.
