Summary: | The purpose of this project is to evaluate a process to obtain a paint from a polyurethane residue as a resin, to obtain this process it was necessary to develop a methodology to achieve an adequate experimental development of the paint at laboratory level. In the first place, the waste characterization is carried out and in this way check its polyurethane composition. Followed, the theoretical formulation is made, provided by bibliographic background to initiate an experimental development, it was generated solving the problems of formulation and parameters of each process to obtain a suitable painting as the experimental stage was developed; each load was put to the test to see its reaction to increase or decrease its proportion, considering this was formulated and the first paint was obtained based on this residue, with commercialization potential at the pilot plant level; conceptual conditions of operation were generated in broad strokes, the mass balances corresponding to their flows and equipment necessary for their implementation were made. Finally, a cost analysis was developed, where according to the results and analysis obtained, it is possible to obtain an increase in production and a reduction in loss of raw material and time, which in volume represents an increase in profits for the company. |
