| Summary: | This degree work evaluates the obtaining of a textile fiber from the banana pseudostem as an eco-friendly alternative, reducing the water consumption that is usually required for a conventional raw material such as cotton and in the use of an agro-industrial waste with physical and chemical properties that can be used in the textile industry, mainly establishing the qualities of this raw material such as the physicochemical parameters that can be the cellulose content (30 - 60%), lignin content (15 - 20% ), among others. |
