Summary:This project consists of evaluating the alternative of use of raw rubber (filler) that allows a greater percentage of incorporation in the cane and sole of the rubber boot, without exceeding the limits of acceptance of mechanical properties at the laboratory level to the company Croydon Colombia SA To begin, a qualitative pre-experimentation of tonality was carried out, in the case of the cane and the appearance of the sole, mixing in different percentages of raw rubber with the mixture of each of the areas. In relation to the sole, it was observed that the by-product affects the behavior of the compound during the vulcanization process, so the formulation for this piece was changed based on the literature and a maximum of 50% incorporation was set. On the other hand, the cane accepted a maximum of 60% of raw rubber without presenting significant changes in the process.
