Description
Summary:The fall in reserves and production has occurred over time, due to this, greater investments have been generated in exploration activity and the use of new technologies to improve the recovery rate. Consequently, the high costs arising from operational investments and the complexity for the extraction of crude are involved, with viscosity being one of the factors that add to this difficulty. The need to improve extraction conditions has led to studies and research in the area of nanotechnology, since this science would allow future optimization of processes.
