| Summary: | This research job is based in the development of an application for profiling rate production of type wells with primary recovery in fields with active pressure of water in the programming language Visual Basic, where these profiles are generated by a modification for horizontal wells of the method proposed by Kuo & DesBrisay for determining the dimensionless water cut in vertical wells. This application may be used for the first approximation of the location of a proposed well in an existing field in both vertical wells and horizontal Wells as this has three correlations for the determination of the critical rate of taper for horizontal wells and two correlations to determine the breakthrough time in horizontal wells. |
