Summary:The investigation began with the analysis of two types of samples taken from two different companies located in the city of Bogotá. In order to determine the conditions to which the waste is discharged to the water effluents; this analysis was compared with Resolution 0631 of 2015 to establish what parameters were permissible and not permissible in the samples. As a result, in the two samples they did not allow the solid sedimentation parameters and chemical oxygen demand. To carry out the dye reduction of the water to be treated, the vegetable residue was used as banana bagasse; This type of waste is chosen because of the abundance in the Cundinamarca area, which are dried and subsequently a pretreatment of the fiber is carried out. The fiber is immersed in water and is brought to ultrasound under conditions to eliminate all unwanted compounds. Next the template is taken to the ultrasound to be impregnated by nanoparticles of MnO2 by means of the precursor KMnO4.
