Enrolled in the development of the partial plan, MIMESIS URBANA, whose sporting approach evidences the need to implement institutional equipment that complements the sport activity, the project has as a subject of development the research and production in biomedical engineering, assuming as main user athletes and people with physical disabilities, that within the political realities of our country have the possibility of finding affordable solutions that allow them to treat their conditions of disability and improve their quality of life. In such a way that research and development of orthopedic prostheses is promoted in an architectural project at a metropolitan scale that, equipped with the technical and spatial facilities suitable for scientific development, allows the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, and favors experimentation, development and marketing of prosthesis of national invoice. In addition, it integrates the community through social extension activities that give the project a permeable character with the public space and strengthens its relationship with the context.
