Summary: | A proposal is presented for the realization of an adhesive for the sealing of boxes that sea a base of said starch, this proposal not only serves to reduce the accumulation of starch, but also provides income with a material that the company generates and does not represent a Benefit. When carrying out a thorough and exhaustive bibliographic review on the production processes of adhesives, it is necessary to carry out a hydrolytic process, because it is the dextrin production mechanism, being these the active component, responsible for the sticky characteristic of the final products; The hydrolytic process can be given in 3 ways: the acid, alkaline and enzymatic routes. It is decided not to carry out the enzymatic route, because it requires much more specialized technology and specific reagents, increasing its cost considerably; only the acid and alkaline routes were worked on throughout the project; Based on the revision, hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide respectively were determined as hydrolyzing agents. |
