Summary:The current situation of medicine shows invasive and synthetic procedures to treat diseases, forgetting about the origins which are based on practices, knowledge and beliefs based on plants, animals and / or minerals that our ancestors used and offer equally effective alternatives to those used by clinical medicine. The question arises: Is it possible to treat and cure diseases, through sensations, materials and the landscape? The thesis raises an answer where by means of a building that gives an alternative to the raised situation. The project is the traditional Unit for the care and ancestral recovery located in San José del Guaviare. It is called Curaca, which means traditional doctor in the ethnic groups of the region. It is resolved through the traditional indigenous medicine of the territory, based on the concept of the perceptual landscape, using the strategy of the garden and the users, a building that heals is designed, where through the journey and the sensations the care and recovery from illness.
