| Summary: | The main objective of the project is to evaluate the feasibility of alternatives for improving wastewater disposal through injection in the Trinidad Field. Currently, a lot of water is being produced in the field, which does not meet the parameters required by the Ministry of the Environment for its discharge. The company PERENCO COLOMBIA LIMITED determined that the best way to manage this water, without affecting oil production, was to inject water into the field. The injection optimization would be done in order to prevent the production water from being greater than the injection capacity of the field, since if this happened it would limit oil production. |
