Description
Summary:The present degree work is carried out in order to provide an alternative to the process of acquisition, transport and final disposal of water. To this end, the basic scheme is outlined by which the company Conoco-Phillips in the report presented to the ANLA, plans to obtain the water with which it will perform hydraulic stimulation in generating rock. On the other hand, ACIPET and the authors propose a different model in which the aforementioned project phases are considered. To this end, the model proposed by the authors proposes the use of production water from the Tisquirma-San Roque field, which is discharged to surface water bodies or underground storage by means of disposal wells, it is important to note that the volumes required for the Hydraulic stimulation varies according to the Conoco-Phillips development plan from 81,000 bbl up to 176,000 bbl. So, by replacing the source of acquisition, the environmental impact of the project in the phase of obtaining the water resource is mitigated, on the other hand it also proposes to transport the required volume of water through a flow line that carries the water from one field to another and finally aims to avoid drilling a disposal well in the area through the use of wells already drilled that perform the same function. Unlike the model proposed by Conoco-Phillips, which plans to transport water from the San Martín aqueduct to the VMM3 field by means of tanker trucks. Finally, the average costs of the Net Present Value (NPV) indicator are analyzed.
