Summary: | The objective of this research is to propose improvement strategies on the organizational culture for the strengthening of quality management in the Unit for Comprehensive Care and Reparation for Victims, for this, a mixed-type research is developed with the use of closed survey research techniques, which is part of the quantitative method; and the semi-structured interview that is part of the qualitative research method. The results of the research show that there are perceptions in disagreement with premises related to leadership, communication and an axis that crosscuts both, which is cooperation and teamwork; Regarding other aspects such as codes and values, a predominance of the positive perception of commitment and transparency is observed, this last value is part of the entire communication process for both clients and employees, especially since it is an essential aspect for public institutions. Finally, strategic activities are generated from two aspects where shortcomings are generated, aimed at participation in decision-making and improvements in communication from the co-creation and construction of knowledge, protocols and guides for the areas of the Unit. It is concluded that in order to strengthen the quality management process, it is also necessary to strengthen the constituent elements of the organizational culture, as well as the ISO standards that promote participation and knowledge management, it is important that it starts from the practice of values. and of behaviors that allow an adequate adaptation to the changes that are constantly coming with improvements in the quality of the services provided by the Victims Unit. |
