| Summary: | As population density, urbanization and industrialization continue to increase, so do the amounts of urban waste generated around the world. In the case of the city of Bogota this is a great problem, because large amounts of waste are produced daily, and approximately 60% of these are urban solid waste (RSU). From the above, this document aims to highlight practices that improve the management of USRs in Bogota, in order to make recommendations for the public policy approach to improve the urban solid waste management system. This is proposed through the collection of research that meets different positive characteristics in the proper use of the management of USRs worldwide. |
