| Summary: | The gasification of residual biomass is one of the processes for the generation of electric energy from renewable sources, which allows to obtain a syngas composed of a mixture of gases with energetic capacity. Due to the low calorific value and the high level of pollutants (particulate matter, ash, tars, among others) that may be present in the syngas, research is being carried out, such as the one developed by the present project, whose purpose is to condition the gas To appropriate and necessary conditions so that it can be used as fuel in electrical generation equipment (turbines and motors). The conditioning system that arises in this project the use of the physical processes of heat transfer and filtration, where the syngas goes through an initial cooling to reach an appropriate temperature for the entrance of the gas to the equipment used later. |
