Summary: | This work aims to show which are some of the most relevant factors that have affected the commercialization of Colombian tilapia in the US market in recent years; through an analysis of empirical evidence and data from institutions such as the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR), DIAN, Procolombia, DANE, Fedeacua, Amcham, AUNAP, Gobernación del Huila, FAO and other reliable sources such as Portafolio magazine , Semana, La Nación and Caracol Radio. It was possible to identify 15 factors that affect the trade of Creole tilapia in international markets, mostly positive factors. Giving indications of why the international trade of this product from Colombia to the United States has increased in recent years. |
