Plan de mejora del proceso de diseño de producto de una empresa del sector calzado

This paper presents a proposal for improvement for the process of design and product development in a case study company in the footwear sector. To make this improvement proposal, a series of quality tools and techniques were used, such as: Diagnosis of the process: to determine the current status and findings of the product design and development process; identification and analysis of strengths, threats and weaknesses: from which some improvement alternatives for the process of interest are proposed; description and analysis of the elements of the process linking the stages of the current process and those found through a bibliographic consultation, showing the benefits of each stage in the process; improvement alternatives for the product design and development process to meet customer needs and expectations and market trends.
