Description
Summary:The development of this project was carried out in five chapters, the first one corresponds to a general description of the geological conditions to which the wells are subjected in the Girasol Field, operated by Mansarovar Energy Colombia Ltda, which allows to understand the reasons for the which have been implemented certain methods of operation, such as cyclic steam stimulation, artificial lift systems by sucker rod pumping, and wells with high deflection angle. In second instance, the types of artificial lifting used in the industry are mentioned accompanied by a brief operational description of each one, emphasizing on sucker rod pumping indicating its operation and giving special importance to the pumping cycle with subsoil pumps powered by rods and valves used inside, problems and limitations of the system. In the third chapter the problems presented by Well B and Well A in its operation through injection cycles with API valves are described altogether with the changes obtained after the Petrovalve Gas Breaker valves were implemented as an alternative and possible solution to these problems. For the fourth chapter, a comparison was made between the technical criteria evaluated before and after the implementation of Petrovalve Gas Breaker anti-lock guided valves through the use of a technical matrix that allowed to obtain a quantifiable improvement in the performance of the valves analyzed.
