| Summary: | The research project began with the identification of the problem in the LEGIS Company, subsequently through visits a diagnosis was made of the current process for the cutting and rewinding of paper, then an analysis of the different systems that allow the development of the system was developed. Through the information provided by the operators and engineers of the LEGIS Company, the parameters and requirements that the system requires in order to obtain an optimal process were taken into account. Based on these data, several alternatives were proposed for the lifting of paper rolls, and when obtaining the alternative that best matches the requirements, a detailed design of the lifting system and the structure it needs to be able to support the load was made. By means of finite elements the calculated data of the system and the structure previously selected were evaluated in order to elaborate the design, location, manufacturing and assembly plans. The project aimed at the company LEGIS was necessary to carry out the installation, operation, maintenance and safety manuals. Finally, the environmental impact of the project was determined and financially evaluated for its feasibility. |
