Summary: | In the present work, a coating method was developed for tubular stabilizer connections through the implementation of a chemical called Parco lubrite 2 (Phosphate) which, when exposed to high temperatures, adheres easily to the metal and allows it to help prevent corrosion and therefore lengthen the life of the stabilizer. This project makes a brief compilation of the types of stabilizers, their functions and an explanation of the main problem that led to the realization of this work such as corrosion, the types of corrosion existing in the oil industry and that directly affect the tools. For the analysis of the quality of the phosphate, the results of the different laboratory tests carried out on it were taken into account with the addition of chemical products, such as the percentage of iron, free acidity and total acidity in order to verify that the phosphate The main coating product would comply with the established ranges to be of good quality. The coating process is carried out after the verification of the quality of the phosphate, indicating step by step the procedure and the conditions for this process to come out in optimal conditions, after the coating is carried out, it is continued to measure how much the connection increases for later determine the wear factor after the tool arrives from well. Finally, the financial evaluation of the project is carried out using the benefit / cost methodology, which takes into account the investment costs of the project. |
