Summary: | This project was developed the design of an induction furnace, it was made for the fusion of non-ferrous materials specifically brass, copper and bronze using the electromagnetic induction heating technique. For this, the theory of the electromagnetic laws that govern the phenomenon of the electric current, the main and most important element of the furnace is the inductor coil, it was designed taking into account the magnetic parameters and the electrical capacities. That allow to determine the number of turns, electric currents, driver's indicators, cooling system and power dissipated. |
