Summary: | In this degree project, was evaluated technically and financially the implementation of an extended-length Deployment System for perforating jobs with Coiled Tubing having live well condition. It began with the theoretical part, where the generalities and geology of the Piedemonte Block were described in order to place the reader in the implementation scenario, followed by a description of the generalities of conventional perforating jobs in the Piedemonte Block, where limitations of the rigless transport methods (Electric Line and Coiled Tubing Unit) were identified. In addition, a description of the fundamentals of Deployment System operations focused on perforating jobs was performed. For the planning stage, the designs and the description of the modeling simulations of mechanical and hydraulic forces were performed for the scenarios with conventional electric line, conventional coiled tubing and coiled tubing with Deployment System in two wells with requirement of extended length perforating job. For the execution stage, the implementation of this new technology was carried out in one of the selected wells. Finally, for the technical-financial evaluation part, a selection matrix was developed that allowed the integration of operational, security and financial aspects to evaluate the efficiency and viability of the Deployment System together with conventional perforating alternatives, in this way, It was possible to select the viable option with greater efficiency and safety. This implementation validated the Deployment System as the most efficient alternative in both wells compared to conventional perforating with several runs. |
