Summary:The present project consists in the design of a didactic bank for tests of an internal combustion engine; This bank will be used by students of mechanical engineering to consolidate and better understand the knowledge acquired during their training process and allow them through of the practices to recognize the faults and likewise to propose viable solutions, that can be tested in a specialized classroom environment diagnosis, repair, maintenance, identification and correction of faults. Initially taken into account for the design of the test didactic bank one of the most sold motor models in Colombia and that meets the characteristics requested by the client and on the other hand that can perform the standardized tests for the didactic exercise; for the design of the bank didactic tests a conceptual design was made of how it would be distributed Each of the motor supports, diagnostic system, accessories and attached implements that the bank will carry out for its operation. In the same way, it was important to contemplate the basic structure that the weight of all the component elements of the bank and for this purpose a analysis of finite elements reviewing among others that so much is deformed a structure until you find the ideal structure.
