Summary: | The objective of this degree work is to develop a proposal to improve the process of preparing flexographic inks to solve the problem of waste and overconsumption of this main input in the company Liliplast S.A.S. Based on the above, the project is developed through five main chapters, the first of which presents a theoretical framework regarding inks and the flexographic printing process, stating the main elements that intervene in the process of enlisting inks; the second chapter contains a diagnosis carried out, which includes a specific detail of the production process, the current situation of the company during the ink mixing stage, possible causes for improvement and a characterization of the input, the third chapter contains the development of a factorial type experimental design, in which one of the Pareto commercial references was taken as a sample for analysis, describing the influence of the conditions necessary to ensure that nitro cellulosic based inks are adequate for the printing process; the fourth chapter covers the improvement proposal with technical specifications of the suggested equipment and the standardization of instructions for quality control; the last chapter emphasizes investment costs and operational costs for the improvement proposal. |
