Description
Summary:In the present grade work, the project was carried out with the objective of evidencing the performance at a laboratory level of nanoparticles as clay inhibitors and lubricants in a water-based mud used for drilling the Colorado formation, and in the Mugrosa formation, through tests specified in API 13B- standard for a water base mud (WBM). Which are divided into physical tests of the type: density; funnel viscosity, rheology, API filtering, number of solids and chemical tests such as: alkalinity; Calcium hardness and amount of chlorides, these tests in order to evaluate the influence of the addition of nanoparticles on the basic properties of the fluid. The high-pressure test was run; high temperature (HPHT), lubricity, Linear Swelling Meter [LSM] and the Extreme Pressure [EP] test.
