Summary: | The present degree project consists in the development of an improvement proposal for the domestic wastewater recycling prototype of the Los Libertadores University Foundation, located in the city of Bogotá D.C; the realization of the same starts with the diagnosis of the current status of the collected wastewater and the prototype, where the parameters to be evaluated are identified, based on Resolution 1207 of 2014 and Resolution 631 of 2015. A characterization of wastewater is carried out domestic collected. Samples of residual gray water generated in the shower are taken in a stratum 3 apartment. The characterization of the water includes the quantification of the following parameters: pH, chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), suspended solids total (SST), sedimentable solids, fats and oils, phenolic semi-volatile compounds and active substances to methylene blue. By having the results of the characterization, the critical indicators of the residual effluent are analyzed, in order to select a chemical treatment that allows improving the quality of the water and the mitigation of odors. |
