| Summary: | The present graduation project was developed to evaluate technically and financially the possibility of implementing a refinery in the town of Duitama (Boyacá), with the aim of achieving a balance in the energy balance of the Department of Boyacá and even towards the center of the country, through the commercialization of fuels with greater demand such as gasoline and diesel. RefiBoyacá proposes the implementation of a Hydroskimming modular refinery with the capacity to process 9,000 barrels of crude oil per day, these modular refineries optimize the construction and installation phases of the industrial complex, the modular refineries also allow to develop future extensions with greater ease than a refinery conventional. |
