| Summary: | The following work is based on the analysis of the use of organic waste from households in the city of Bogotá for the generation of organic fertilizer through the domestic composting technique. In the first instance, a theoretical investigation was carried out to explain the term composting, its main factors, stages, the methodologies to apply it and finally the various benefits that can be obtained by putting it into practice. Afterwards, a theoretical and practical study was carried out on organic residues produced by a residential complex. A classification and quantification of these was done to then define the properties of each one. Finally, a management proposal was proposed to implement within the residential complex where the way of communication to the residents, the elements to be needed, the collection procedure and the application process were explained. |
