First, a contextualization was carried out, summarizing their functionality, the advantages and limitations that they entail, basic components, and reference cases that demonstrate their applicability. In addition, the parameters of the mechanics of its implementation are detailed, exposing the theory on which the subsequent approaches were based. Next, a planning scheme for a TTD operation was established, consisting of the phases to follow the procedure. In this, in addition to presenting the design criteria, the variables whose simulation should be run were proposed, in order to estimate the drilling requirements of this type of well. This scheme was theoretically implemented in a study well "A", for which the corresponding simulations were run.Mediante el presente proyecto de grado se evaluó la viabilidad de la implementación de las tecnologías Through Tubing Drilling (TTD) en Colombia. Para tal fin, en primer lugar, se llevó a cabo una contextualización general, abarcando la funcionalidad de las mismas, las ventajas y limitaciones que conllevan, los componentes básicos necesarios, y casos de referencia que demostraron su aplicabilidad. Adicionalmente, se detallaron los parámetros de la mecánica de su implementación, exponiendo las bases teóricas en las que se fundamentaron los planteamientos posteriores. Seguido, se estableció un esquema de planeación de una operación TTD, compuesto por las fases o etapas a seguir al planificar el procedimiento. En este, además de presentar los criterios de diseño esenciales, se propusieron las variables cuya simulación se debe correr, para de esta manera estimar los requerimientos de la perforación de un pozo de este tipo.
