Summary: | The main objective of this project is to update the technical petroleum volume of the producing sub-unit C7-X of the Astro Field, which has 15 wells, located in the Llanos Orientales sedimentary basin, using the deterministic and probabilistic methods, both based on the volumetric equation and on the calculation of formation water resistivity from physical-chemical analysis the formation water. In order to calculate the technical volume using the volumetric equation, the related petrophysical properties must be known, these being area, Net-Pay thickness, porosity, formation volumetric factor and recovery factor. In order to validate the technical oil volume due to possible changes in water saturation in the formation, this value is updated based on the results of physical-chemical water tests carried out in wells ASTRO_033H and ASTRO_039HD, which only have the sub-unit of study enabled at the moment of taking the sample. |
