Description
Summary:The enzymes are used industrially for their wide range of applications mainly in food and pharmaceuticals; come from animals, plants and microorganisms, however, in Colombia it is not a technology that is developed by economic factors and lack of research. Advances have been growing, from their use to degrade dyes in the water until their application to decompose crude oil. This article describes some advances in research to reduce the impact caused by the environment in a context in the global market for enzymes accelerated by their utility in various industry processes.
