Description
Summary:The goal of the present work is to perform a review of the literature about knowledge management and quality management in organizations, for its development a systematic review of the literature was carried out through consultation of different sources of information. The results show that there is theoretical and empirical evidence of the relationship between the knowledge management and quality management models, with knowledge management being the bridge that facilitates the implementation processes of quality and innovation management systems in organizations. Likewise, the results obtained by organizations that have implemented knowledge management within the framework of quality management systems are presented from the development of the dimensions of knowledge management, such as the dimensions and capacities of quality management. The results obtained suggest the development of research using a quantitative or mixed approach that allows empirical evidence of the conclusions reached by the researchers referred to in this work, on the relationship between models in Latin American organizations.
