De cara a una reflexión seria sobre los desafíos eclesiales e históricos que plantea la misión eclesial en el contexto latinoamericano, el artículo aborda una causa teológica que podría explicar el eclipse de la opción por los pobres en dicho documento: opción desarticulada del misterio de Dios y de la causa de Jesús, el regir de Dios in actu.In the context of the 5th General Conference of CELAM in Aparecida and starting from the document on Participation an analysis is made of a fundamental church option that has been present in the theology, the faith and the praxis of the Latin American Church: the option for the poor. Does this fact continue to be a church force, incarnated in the very mystery of God?
