Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo con una muestra en diferentes clínicas odontológicas en la ciudad de Medellín y su área metropolitana, Con el fin de poder administrar la encuesta en la población de estudio. Se realizó una traducción al español desde la encuesta original realizada en el idioma inglés y una traducción reversa del ingles al español, la cual fue comparada con la encuesta original con el fin de comparar los términos más apropiados en español desde un punto de vista lingüístico y socio-cultural.
